I have been following along on Fb, loving the media & vibe and food photos from this cute little young family & old fashioned fish & chips Cafe. Its 45mins drive away from where we live, and its been hard to get there as I'm a cancer bedridden patient. Finally sent Hubby & friend over last night to get dinner & pineapple fritter for me. I have no appetite & struggle to eat/keep food down. I was absolutely delighted to finally try something...and the pineapple fritter was so good I had the second one....still warm on arrival, sweet, just the right amount of cinnamon sugar & nice batter, even with the big drive home. Theres so many things including want to try...& now knowing how great the food is, there will be more trips back! I also kept the fritters down! Amazing burgers hubby said too. I love supporting small family businesses. This was a bucket list thing for me. Already salivating over my next meal. Great work team Raechelle

⭐ ⭐ ⭐ ⭐ ⭐ ⭐ The BEST damn Parmi we have ever had! I highly recommend ordering this, Fresh Tasty Goodness on a plate! Absolutely loaded with fresh Ingredients including juicy chicken breast! This is a must have! Thanks Beachmere Takeaway, always providing the goods!

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ We came to Beachmere Takeaway for the first time today after seeing all the great reviews on Facebook, and we definitely weren’t disappointed! The chicken schnitty, chips and salad were a HUGE portion and absolutely mouth-watering. My husband said the battered cod and chippies were the best he’s ever had — and you could actually see the chicken salt! Great food, generous servings, and lovely service — we’ll definitely be back!

⭐ ⭐ ⭐ ⭐ ⭐ ⭐ Absolutely delicious food! Highly recommend! The best burgers, so fresh! Oh and the chips yum, not oily and the chicken salt was perfection!

We grabbed dinner for 4 after setting up camp nearby. All of us agreed - best fish & chips we’d had for AGES ! And for any Victorian’s - they have FLAKE !! And it was delicious

Myself and kiddies came in yesterday for the first time I needed to pass on what my children said. We are a spicy brain family so adhd mixed with autistic so flavour / texture is a huge thing. My kids said “oh wow. They taste clean. Like they’re not dirty but like you know. Like fresh and clean” To any other parent, they’d be left thinking what the hell is that kid on about But it’s a high praise. I’ll translate for you - “amazing chips that were awesome colour, that were cooked in awesome fresh oil and the crispy chicken burger is better than maccas” I mean if you beat maccas you must be good!! we will def be back!

We went here last night, Absolutely worth the drive out. Best fish & chips we have had since been in Qld in 7 years. Very friendly owners & nice place to sit & eat. We will be back Keep serving those chips!

We’ve been a few times now since the re-opening in August 2025 and have been very impressed every time. The kids love the pizzas, and we can’t turn down the desserts. I wasn’t surprised to learn that they hand-cut and batter their own calamari. Everything is super fresh and you can tell! Exceptional value for money. Thanks for bringing life and love back into the neighbourhood takeaway store! It’s been great to get takeaway to share at the beach or park. Can’t wait to see what the new owners do with the outdoor area. Oh - and so glad about the takeaway coffees!
